A wonderful morning of gentle self-care, fun, and hands-on learning.

The workshop is facilitated by myself and Tharien Pieterse, a fellow Ayurvedic practitioner and massage therapist.

This hands-on workshop will guide you through:

✨ Gentle movement and breathwork to awaken and balance your energy
✨ Grounding meditation to cultivate presence and inner listening
✨ Introduction to Marma points and simple techniques for self-care
✨ Experience a deeply rejuvenating Ayurvedic facial massage
✨ Discover essential oils and how they support your dosha
✨ Blend a 100 ml body oil using cold-pressed carrier and organic essential oils
✨ Create a nourishing facemask with edible ingredients
✨ Make a 50 ml skin toner with a frankincense hydrosol base and dosha-specific essential oils

Ayurvedic teas and snacks will be offered.

A PDF with recipes, ingredients, and self-care guidance will be sent to you afterward.

Nourish: An Ayurvedic Food Journey

An Evening of presence, connection, and mindful nourishment
Join me and Tharien Pieterse for a soulfully curated 4-hour workshop designed to deepen your relationship with food — from how you cook it to how you eat it and how it makes you feel.

In an intimate group we’ll slow down together with a grounding meditation and gentle movement to arrive fully in our bodies. From there, we’ll explore the emotional and psychological layers of our relationship with food in an interactive way, getting into food psychology.

Then, hands-on in the kitchen, we’ll prepare a seasonal Ayurvedic meal together — infused with intention and the wisdom of ancient healing traditions. We’ll close by enjoying the meal in a mindful way, reconnecting with the simple joy of eating as a sacred act.

In my workshops we focus on bite size chunks of Ayurveda, which will be interesting stepping-stones for you to explore the different aspects of Ayurveda:

  • Ayurveda Inside and Out – Food & Food as Skin Care 
  • Ayurvedic Eating & Food Psychology
  • Understanding the Elements and Qualities in Nature and in us

My 2 – 3-hour workshops will give you an insight into the fundamentals of Ayurveda. This ancient science is more relevant than ever, and can give us a beautiful framework from which to understand ourselves better – and to live our lives in greater harmony and balance.

People often feel that Ayurveda is quite overwhelming, but at the same time are very drawn to it.

Ayurveda is best learned through an in-depth immersion by way of retreats, workshops – or a 1:1 consultation journey of at least 5 sessions.

Ayurveda is not a quick fix, but a rewarding lifelong path. It takes time to create a good foundation!
